Dear Sir or Madam
I am writing to you because I saw your advertisement looking for PE teacher in summer jobs and I am interested in it.
I am sixteen years old and I am hard-working and sociable, in my town I have a lot of friends and I usually go out with them. I love all the sports. During the year I practise football three times a week and we have a match every weekend.
I consider myself good at this job because I am a good communicator and organized. I like children. I have a young cousin and I always play football with him.
I would like to know how much money I will earn, if I will have free time and how long the job is going to be.
I would love to get this job and I think I can be the right person for it.

Black Beauty

In this third term I read a book called Black Beauty. It was about a horse life. It told the different experiencies that Beauty lived at the length of his life and his masters. His first house was a pleasant farm with fields around it. In his fisrt four years of life he had a very relaxed life, he didn't have any job to do. But then he was sold to another master, and there he sometimes had to pull a carriage but he also had time to stay at the field. One day he fall and he broke his knees and he lost her possibilities to have a good job. Then he was sold to a cab driver and he pull a carriage with people to the different places of London. This job was very exhausted for Beauty but he did his best all the time. Her worst job was with a baker, but the man was very unkind and they didn't had a good relation and he was sold in a horse fair to and old man. There he met with Joe, her favourite master. And in this farm the people was very kind and he was so happy with them.
I recomend the book, I like it a lot!

El canto del loco

PRESENTATION:
We‘ve chosen “El Canto del Loco” because it’s a famous pop rock group in Spain and all of us like their music. Their songs usually talk about love and the society: The group consists of four musicians. The singer’s name is Dani Martín who decided to create the group, he was born in Madrid in 1977. He has participated in some films like “Yo soy la Juani”. The guitarist name’s David Otero. He was born in Madrid too and is Dani’s cousin. Chema Ruiz is the bass player. He was born in Santander. And Carlos Gamón who is the drummer.

EXPERIENCES
They have recorded some albums. Their first album was in 2000 called “El canto del loco” and the most important single was “Eres un canalla”.
In 2002 they recorded her second album called “A contracorriente” and the best single was called “A contracorriente”. The third album is “Estados de Ánimo” and it was recorded in 2003. The best single was “La madre de Jóse” . In 2005 they recorded her fourth album called “Zapatillas” and the best single was “Zapatillas”. In 2008 they recorded her fifth album whose name’s “Personas”. This CD is one of the most important and it had a lot of success and they did a limited edition called “ De personas a personas”. They also did a lot of videoclips, and one of this won a price.
During this years they did a lot of tours around Spain to illustrate their new songs to all of her fans. They sang in a lot of cities in Spain like Barcelona, Madrid...

PERSONAL OPINION
We decided to explain this group because we like their music and also because is an Spanish group. Doing this homework we learn a lot of things about the band. For example we didn’t know Dani Martin participed in some films. Their songs received a lot of prizes and some of her singles was a really heat in Spain during a lot of time. They have collection of some old songs, like “Devuelme a mi chica” by Hombres G, “La Chica de ayer” by Nacha Pop.

My opinions

-What dou you think is the most thrilling sport?
I think the most thrilling sport is skiin because every day that you practice is different because you don't know what the snow is like that day. I practice ski since 8 years ago and every day I like it more.
-What is the most dangerous sport?Why?
In my opinion the most dangerous sport is parachuting because you don't know what can happen to you when you set the floor. I've never practiced it but one day I want to try and feel new sensations.
-Which is more exciting, surfing or skiing?
I feel better when I practice skiing than surfing. I practice surfing only once but I think it's too difficult. This summer when I go to Llancà I want to practice it.
-Are movies too violent this days?
It seems to me that there are a lot of different movies. But I thnik there are movies where there is violence and more violence. But you can also try for other types of movies.
-Should scientists clone humans?
I don't think clone humans is a good thing because there is only one person with their carachteristics and if you clone a person, after that, there are two persons completely similar.
-How do you like pizza?
If you ask me, I like pizza with a lot of cheese and tomatoes. I prefer simple pizzas without many things.

My town

I think Olot and New York are very different cities. New York is one of the most important cities in the world and Olot is only the capital of "La Garrotxa". In New York there are a lot of things to visit like the Central Park, the Statue of Liberty, its skycrapers and also a lot of museums, in Olot you can visit the volcanoes, the museum of the volcanoes and the Natural Parc. New York is more popular than Olot because there is more tourism and it's very famous. In Olot there are more forests than in New York because in New York there's only the Central Park and around Olot there are a lot of forests like " La Fageda d'en Jordà" or "Triai". Olot is a big city but New York is bigger than Olot. New York has got more than 8 million of people but in Olot there are only 30000 people. The oficial language in New York is English but if you speak Spanish you can also understand the people because there are a lot of people who speak Spanish.

Modern fairy tale

Once upon a time I heard a strange story which happened to a very lucky boy called John.One day he went to buy a videocamera, then he recorded a football match and discovered that this camera recorded the future.He played the video in the computer and saw a girl who sold magic things. Then he went to saw this girl and bought a suit that makes you invisible.With the suit he went to spy a vicar and discovered that the old man had a talking house plant.He put on his suit and made invisibleand stole the plant. When he was at home the plant told to him where to find a magic cash car, and then he put on his suit and went to stoled the magic cash card.With this cash card he went to buy a computer that grants wishes.John wanted a flying car and told to her computer and the computer give it to him.He was in a lot of problems because he paid a lot of things with this card, and the police was searching him.So John wanted a magic washing that rinses out the problems. The washing rinse out his problems with the police and then the computer gave to him super sonic shoes to arrive in time at the places.The computer broke down and he bought a Suiss penknife to repair it. Finally he died in a house in the forest talking to the talking house plant.
